Job Details
- Certifications: Graduate of an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); maintains a State License as a general radiographer and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
- Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
- Location Requirements: No specific geographic restrictions noted.
- Years of Experience: 0.0 (minimum experience requirement: 0 years).
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
- Position Description: The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include ultrasound imaging of the abdomen, pelvis (gynecological and obstetrical), transvaginal scans, small parts (thyroid, breast, scrotum), along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
- Submission Requirements: All travel submissions must include at least 2 years of experience and prior travel experience; local candidates are not accepted.
- Clinical or Operational Details: All assignments are at a PWP facility, and vendors will not be paid until HWS payment is processed.
