Interventional Radiology Technician Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. This position offers a dynamic working environment with a focus on patient care and advanced radiological procedures.
ScheduleThe standard work schedule consists of:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
- Wednesday: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Every other holiday required
- No on-call or weekend shifts
The Interventional Radiology Technician will be responsible for:
- Performing interventional radiology procedures including tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, and various catheter placements.
- Assisting in pain management procedures such as epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations.
- Executing vascular procedures, including angiograms and thrombectomies.
- Scrubbing for interventional radiology, vascular, and pain management procedures.
- Proficient operation of the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Current ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS certifications, and fluoro permit.
- Valid MD license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
- Previous experience in travel assignments is preferred.
- Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
