Job Summary
CT Technologist position in a department handling inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging based in the local healthcare setting. This role involves performing CT imaging procedures on a diverse patient population, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients, with a focus on accuracy and patient safety. The position offers a structured schedule and a dynamic work environment supporting professional growth.
Job Details
- Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, 11:00 AM 9:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association, Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Radiologic Technology (RT) certification, license submission required, minimum 2 years of experience in CT technology, and the ability to perform CT imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
- Preferred Qualifications: ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (RT(CT))
- Responsibilities include executing CT imaging procedures for various patient types, occasionally initiating IVs, and ensuring high-quality imaging results
- Department utilizes Philips and Siemens equipment, with Epic, Merge PACS, and Sinora PACS systems in place
- No floating or coverage in other areas required, and no call or standby obligations
- Orientation shifts will be tailored based on technologist and department comfort level
- Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts canceled per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
