Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for essential program recruitment, workforce and educational activities and documentation that supports participant eligibility, program progress and performance.
- Coordinate and co-facilitate youth services which include but are not limited to: providing mentorship, instruction, monitoring and support that allow young adults to develop goals and actionable steps that permit meaningful progress and attainment.
- Works collaboratively with all members of the JOG team to determine best practices for participants, collectively aid in barrier removal and goal achievement.
- Maintain working relationships with all building partners at the Next Step Room, within Summit County Ohio Means Jobs.
Position Requirements:
• Position requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time
• Must be able to communicate effectively to a group of individuals with varying skill levels
• Computer skills including, but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, online database management systems.
• Work hours of 8:00-4:30 pm
• Flexible work location - Local, daytime travel occasionally required within a four-county radius.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.

Work experience with private sector or disadvantaged youth
This is a Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30pm that is fully in person.
