Alabama Pain Physicians is seeking a dependable and experienced Fluoroscopy Technologist to join our team in Birmingham, AL. This position will work alongside our physicians and clinical staff to provide fluoroscopic imaging during interventional pain management procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during interventional pain procedures
- Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain appropriate images
- Assist physicians and clinical staff during procedures
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles at all times
- Maintain proper use of lead protection and radiation monitoring equipment
- Perform routine equipment checks and report equipment concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe procedure environment
- Follow infection-control, HIPAA, and facility safety requirements
- Maintain required imaging and procedure documentation
- Assist with other clinical or procedural duties as needed
Qualifications
- Experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy equipment preferred
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, surgery, or another procedural setting is preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and proper patient positioning
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working closely with physicians and clinical staff
