Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.
• Program and troubleshoot VFDs and basic production equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and piping diagrams.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Perform basic plumbing and equipment repairs.
• Install and replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Follow OSHA, GMP, FDA, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout safety requirements.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production operations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to read/write English and communicate in Spanish.
• Flexible schedule and overtime availability.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must follow all safety and PPE requirements.
