Stamping Machine Operator

Aegis is seeking Foil Stamping Machine Operators for a client in Niles, IL. This position is on a THIRD shift, the hours are 9:45 pm-6:30 am. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

• 2+ years of foil stamping machine operating experience
• Manufacturing/production experience
• Experience setting up and operating foil stamping equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues
• Strong understanding of foil stamping techniques and materials
• Ability to perform quality inspections
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
• Ability to use measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 3rd shift

Nice to Have:

• Experience with specialty/high-end packaging or commercial printing
• Experience with multiple types of foil stamping equipment
• Experience performing machine maintenance
• Experience working with production documentation and job tickets
• Continuous improvement/process improvement experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
