Brake Press Operator

1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, precision, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Press Brake Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend metal sheets and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accuracy in production.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to fabricate parts according to production schedules.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Utilize plasma cutting, laser cutting, and electrical discharge machining as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of technical drawings.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and basic math skills.
• Experience with plasma cutting, laser cutting, lathe operations, and electrical discharge machining is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
