Foreman Development Opportunity

We’re seeking a dependable MIG Welder/Fabricator who’s interested in growing into a working foreman role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid basic welding skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn, lead, and work independently.

You don’t need decades of experience—we’re willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

  • MIG weld carbon steel and aluminum
  • Fabricate and install handrails, gates, ladders, stairs, and light structural components
  • Perform welding support work in both shop and field environments
  • Read measurements and follow fabrication and installation instructions
  • Work independently and help coordinate the assigned crew
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between company leadership and field employees
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area

Schedule and Travel:

  • Currently 40 hours per week
  • Future projects will primarily involve out-of-town travel
  • Traveling schedules may average 50–60 hours per week
  • Per diem is provided for lodging and meals; employees are responsible for arranging and paying their own expenses
  • Mileage is paid for authorized travel from the shop to out-of-town job sites

Qualifications:

  • MIG welding experience with carbon steel; aluminum experience is preferred
  • Welding certifications are not currently required
  • Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn
  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Leadership ability or an interest in developing into a working foreman
  • Willing and able to travel for future projects
  • Must meet company background requirements, including no theft, burglary, breaking-and-entering, robbery, or DUI convictions
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation preferred

We’re looking for someone who wants more than just another welding job. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn our operation, take on increasing responsibility, and develop into a trusted working foreman.
