The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) provides essential personal care and assistance to patients primarily in home care agency settings and individual patient households. This role supports patient well-being by helping with daily activities, medication management, and mobility, while reporting directly to a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to patients
- Assist with medication administration as directed
- Support patient mobility and transfers safely
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to the Registered Nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in home health care
