This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
We areseekinga skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join ourInfrastructure and End-User Servicesteam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background ininformationtechnology (IT)and a proventrack recordof creating clear, concise, andaccuratedocumentation for a diverse audience.As a Technical Writer, you willbe responsible fordocumentingprocedures,maintainadocumentrepository, andensureregular document reviews as needed.The Technical Writer playsa crucial role in ensuring that our internaldocumentation meetscompany andregulatory standards.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and Maintain Documentation: Develop and update a variety of documents, includingstandards,procedures, and job aids, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance withcompanystandards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, compliance officers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure that documentation accurately reflects currentpracticesand requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations andinternalcompliance requirements, ensuring that all documentationis incompliancewithstatedstandards.
- Document Governance:Maintaina repository of documents, including meta-data, to provide an organized source of information and ensure document review standards are adhered to.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews and audits of existing documentation toidentifyand correct errors and outdated information.
- Process Improvement:Developdocumentation strategies to achieve corporate goals andidentifyopportunities to enhance documentation processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented withdemonstratedanalytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiencyin document editing and publishing tools such as Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies,Sharepointand/or Confluence is aplus.
