Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in K-12 school settings is highly preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting assessments, writing reports, developing and implementing IEPs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Complete formal assessments, document findings, and participate in eligibility determinations
  • Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings with staff and families
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with school and state guidelines
