Step into a meaningful opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year supporting students across multiple school locations in the Westover, MD area. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll make a difference providing valuable services to K-12 students, collaborating with caring staff in a positive, supportive environment. The upcoming assignment runs from August 17, 2026 through June 14, 2027, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week in an onsite role.

Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Maryland State Teaching Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
  • Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills
  • Onsite availability required for the full assignment
  • Ability to travel between multiple school locations (candidate zip code required at submission)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with families and educational teams
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district standards
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students with speech/language challenges
