A highly respected AmLaw firm is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Houston litigation team. This role is perfect for someone who understands Texas civil defense litigation, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys being a proactive partner to attorneys handling sophisticated matters.

Compensation & Benefits
- $69,225 - $78,000 annually DOE
- Hybrid schedule after 90-day onboarding period
- Paid parking

- Support attorneys through all phases of civil litigation
- Draft, revise, and file pleadings, motions, responses, and discovery documents
- Manage Texas e-filing and PACER filings
- Maintain complex calendars, court deadlines, and docketing systems
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively address potential issues
- Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal teams
- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and quality
- Assist with trial preparation and litigation support
- 5+ years of legal administrative experience in a Texas law firm
- Strong knowledge of Texas civil defense litigation from start to finish
- Experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, docketing, and calendaring
- Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate needs and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communicator with the confidence to ask questions and speak up when needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, Texas eFile, PACER, iManage, and PDF editing software
