I'm partnering with a highly respected Seattle law firm seeking a Senior Corporate Attorney to join its thriving corporate practice. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced attorney looking to inherit and grow sophisticated client relationships from senior attorneys who are actively transitioning longstanding business.
The firm is looking for a lawyer with strong technical corporate law experience and demonstrated business development capabilities. This role offers the rare opportunity to build upon an existing client foundation while continuing to expand your own practice.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Corporate Attorney, you'll advise established business clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Corporate finance transactions
- Corporate governance and strategic business matters
- Securities law compliance and regulatory issues
- Commercial contracts and business agreements
- Business entity formation, restructuring, and operational matters
Additional responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements
- Providing strategic legal advice to business owners, executives, and stakeholders
- Managing sophisticated client relationships
- Supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and legal staff
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice groups
- Participating in business development and client growth initiatives
- Supporting firm leadership and practice group development
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Washington State Bar membership
- 10+ years of corporate law experience
- Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, finance, corporate governance, and commercial transactions
- Excellent legal writing, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-level matters simultaneously
- Strong client counseling and relationship management abilities
