Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students with your expertise in school psychology! This full-time, in-person contract position runs from August 2026 to June 2027, offering a dynamic role across multiple school sites. As the primary school psychologist for the district, you will serve a diverse caseload and play a pivotal role in fostering positive academic and social-emotional outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for state certification)
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to travel between school sites as assigned
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and organization skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must be available for on-site, in-person work throughout the full contract term

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret the results for educational planning
  • Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to address students’ academic, behavioral, and mental health needs
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education and behavior plans
  • Offer crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and group interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Help develop positive behavioral supports and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
