Job Title: AssemblerJob Description

As an Assembler, you will produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies, ensuring the highest quality standards. You will work with power equipment and wrenching techniques to assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks. Your role will involve drilling holes for wires, hoses, and small parts, as well as operating a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts. You will be responsible for positioning parts and subassemblies by using blueprints or reading measurements, and installing various truck accessories.

Responsibilities
  • Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks utilizing power equipment and wrenching techniques.
  • Drill holes for wires, hoses, and small parts.
  • Operate a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using blueprints or reading measurements.
  • Install various truck accessories such as decals, mud flaps, and cameras.
  • Stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 35 lbs.
  • Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands.
  • Follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Must be able to work overtime and/or 7 days a week, with regular attendance required.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in assembly, production, and machine operation.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail to adhere to quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or 1+ years in assembly or mechanical operation.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working on parts and lifts daily, which can be repetitive. Our dress code is practical, requiring jeans, steel-toed boots, and a clean work shirt. We have openings on the 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5am-3pm) and the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4pm-2am), with mandatory overtime often on Fridays, and potentially on weekends, where Sunday pay is double time. A shift differential of $1.75 is provided for 2nd and 3rd shift employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $44512.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
