What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting strongly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of psychological testing, educational evaluations, and intervention strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with junior high developmental needs and challenges
- Must meet all Ohio state and district-specific credentialing or certification requirements
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting student evaluations and assessments to identify learning, social, or behavioral concerns
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing direct and indirect counseling and intervention services for junior high students
- Supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development within the school environment
- Offering crisis intervention, as needed, and contributing to a safe, inclusive learning community
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all relevant state and district policies
