X-Ray Technician in Gary, IN

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Current ARRT (R) certification and applicable state licensure
• Proficiency in performing diagnostic X-ray imaging exams

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric clients, is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality diagnostic X-ray images as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment and perform technical evaluation of images for diagnostic quality
• Maintain accurate patient records and document exam details in accordance with facility policy
• Partner with providers and healthcare team members to communicate findings and facilitate comprehensive care
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and report malfunctions promptly
