You'll provide essential psychological services, helping students achieve their fullest potential in a collaborative and resource-rich environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession of active School Psychologist licensure for Ohio
- Demonstrated experience working in a school setting, preferably at the junior high level
- Strong capacity for psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention planning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Commitment to delivering services onsite throughout the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for junior high students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop intervention plans and support IEPs
- Provide counseling, crisis prevention, and behavioral intervention services as needed
- Participate actively in student support teams and multidisciplinary meetings
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and adhere to all legal/ethical guidelines
- Serve as a resource for school staff in understanding and managing diverse student needs
