Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by providing expert psychological support across three school sites in a thriving K-12 environment. This contract position offers flexibility—with both full-time and part-time opportunities available—ideally suited for a dedicated School Psychologist ready to contribute their skills near Las Vegas, NV. The role spans the entire academic year (August 10 – May 21, 2027), and is conducted in person.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Nevada School Psychologist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date
- Previous experience working in K–12 settings preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of psychological assessments, interventions, and special education processes
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to travel between three assigned school sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret results for students in grades K–12
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support for students
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for teachers and parents regarding student learning and behavior
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support school-wide initiatives to promote positive student outcomes and safe learning environments
