Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous experience in a middle school or similar setting
- Familiarity with supporting students in math within inclusive and resource settings
- Strong ability to individualize instruction and adapt curriculum

- Ability to design and implement IEPs effectively
Primary responsibilities:
- Serve 8th grade students in both push-in and pull-out formats, specifically targeting math instruction
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual learning styles and needs
- Monitor, document, and report student progress toward educational goals
- Collaborate with grade-level teachers, related service professionals, and families to maximize student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and support in goal setting and accommodations
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development
