We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced School Nurse to contribute expertise in a unique, short-term contract assignment near Aurora, IL. This position involves collaborating with an Audiologist to complete an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) before the end of September. If you are a Certified School Nurse passionate about supporting students’ well-being, this onsite role offers a distinct chance to leverage your skills during a critical assessment period.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN state license required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement essential
• Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) preferred
• Strong background in school-based nursing practices
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
• Experience participating in multidisciplinary evaluations is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) in partnership with an Audiologist
• Review students’ health records to support evaluation objectives
• Assess student needs in alignment with IEP and state requirements
• Prepare, document, and submit required evaluation data
• Communicate findings effectively to the evaluation team
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations
• Complete the evaluation in a timely manner before the stated deadline

This is a contract assignment for one evaluation only, with a flat fee awarded upon successful completion.
