Pediatric Registered Nurse School Setting in Lakeville, MN

Make a meaningful impact supporting students' health and well-being across a dynamic district setting near Lakeville, MN! Seeking a dedicated RN with specialized pediatric or school nurse experience to serve as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) on a contract basis. This onsite role involves working with students district-wide, collaborating with educational teams, and delivering high-quality health services over 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minnesota Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required
• Prior experience in pediatric, school-based healthcare, or public health nursing
• Strong assessment, triage, and emergency care abilities
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while managing needs throughout the district

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the physical and emotional health of students from diverse backgrounds
• Administer medications, manage care plans, and respond to health emergencies
• Partner with teachers, families, and administrators to promote positive health outcomes and foster a safe learning environment
• Conduct health screenings and participate in the development of IEP/504 plans
• Maintain thorough and timely health records in accordance with FERPA and district policy
• Provide health education, disease prevention, and wellness outreach across multiple school sites
