Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing essential support and assessments to students in the vibrant region near Fort Worth, TX. This itinerant role spans five schools, primarily focused on the elementary level with some involvement at the middle school level. You'll play a key part in helping students thrive by conducting evaluations and delivering targeted services, particularly for students identified with Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or an Associate School Psychologist Credential, issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologist.
  • Ability to obtain or verify fingerprints through the TEA (processing may take up to 10 business days).
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, as well as prior school-based experience, are highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), direct services, and comprehensive evaluations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills to seamlessly manage an itinerant caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations related to AU, ED, and OHI.
  • Support special education eligibility determinations and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Deliver direct support services and collaborate on FBAs and BIPs.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to educators, families, and school teams across multiple campuses.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state policies.

This position is on-site only (not available virtually) and requires a commitment of 35 hours per week from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027. You'll move between assigned campuses, making a positive impact on students at multiple locations.
