Surgical Physician Assistant - Community Hospital

Join WCS Healthcare Partners as we expand our Advanced Practice Provider team within our surgical services program. We are seeking two dynamic Surgical Physician Assistants to support our growing Urology department, as well as General Surgery and potentially other surgical specialties. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple disciplines, enhancing your skills and expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• First assisting in the operating room
• Conducting pre-operative evaluations
• Participating in post-operative rounding
• Providing inpatient consults
• Offering hospital-based surgical support

Requirements

• Licensed Physician Assistant
• Prior surgical PA experience required
• Must have first assist experience
• Urology experience is preferred but not required
• Candidates with experience in General Surgery or other surgical specialties are encouraged to apply
• Comfortable with inpatient rounding, consults, and perioperative patient management
• Interest in learning and supporting multiple surgical service lines
