This full-time, onsite role is designed for a dedicated SLP-CCC professional committed to helping students overcome communication challenges and supporting their educational success throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

As part of this contract position, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to deliver evidence-based speech therapy services. Your compassionate approach and clinical skills will foster student growth and contribute to a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Maine
  • Experience with K-12 populations, including assessments, IEP documentation, and direct therapy
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language screenings and evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy to students individually and in groups, using evidence-based techniques
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear progress updates and recommendations
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and allied professionals to support student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
