My biggest priority is finding someone I can trust who is reliable, communicates well, and is comfortable caring for two children of different ages. They do well with structure and consistency, but also with someone who is fun. Their ideal day is pretty simple, having a predictable routine, getting where they need to be on time, and having someone who is engaged with them rather than just supervising. Depending on the day, care may include helping with the morning routine, school/daycare transportation, afternoon pickup, snacks, and keeping them occupied until were home.
