School Psychologist – Travel/Contract

Location: Orangeburg, SC 29115
Position Type: Travel/Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Local Pay: $60/hour
Travel Pay: $2,650/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to support students in a K–8 educational setting. The ideal candidate will provide psychological assessment, behavioral support, counseling, risk assessments, and assistance with special education eligibility and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct reevaluation planning and comprehensive psychological evaluations.
  • Perform behavioral assessments and develop appropriate behavioral interventions.
  • Provide counseling and support to students as needed.
  • Conduct student risk assessments and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Complete psychological and educational evaluations for IEP and 504 eligibility/services.
  • Participate in meetings related to student evaluations, eligibility, and educational planning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, parents, and other members of the educational team.
  • Provide recommendations to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, interventions, and student services.
  • Support students across Kindergarten through 8th grade.
  • Follow applicable educational policies, procedures, and special education requirements.
Qualifications
  • Appropriate School Psychologist credentials/licensure for South Carolina.
  • Experience conducting psychological and educational evaluations in a school setting.
  • Experience with IEP and 504 evaluations/eligibility.
  • Strong behavioral assessment and intervention skills.
  • Experience working with K–8 students preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
