Overview
Radiology Tech – Multimodality Technologist in Fort Bragg, California. This travel assignment starts on 10/26/2026 and runs for 13 contract weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,879 to $3,077 per week. The shift is Nights, 10 hours per shift, four nights per week (4x10 nights). Work will take place in a healthcare imaging department within a healthcare facility. The assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging and multimodality examinations across available modalities (e.g., X-ray with support for related modalities) following orders and departmental protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, apply proper shielding, screen for contraindications, and correctly identify and position patients for accurate imaging.
- Optimize image quality by selecting appropriate exposure factors, positioning, and technique, while adhering to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with radiologists and technologists; verify orders, document procedures, and ensure accurate labeling and PACS accession of images.
- Support workflow in a fast-paced imaging environment; assist with equipment QC checks, routine maintenance reporting, and basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Demonstrate professional conduct, uphold patient privacy and safety standards, and provide compassionate care, particularly during night shifts.

Requirements
- Active license to practice radiologic technology in California or eligibility to obtain (as applicable for this role).
- Relevant certification in radiologic imaging with competency across multiple modalities preferred.
- Ability to work nights on a 4x10 schedule and adapt to a fast-paced imaging department.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety.
- Must be able to perform imaging procedures in a clinical setting and use appropriate imaging software and PACS.
- Multimodality experience or demonstrated capability across more than one imaging modality is preferred.
