**Become a Skilled CT Technologist and Make a Difference!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of medical imaging? - As a CT Technologist, you will: - Utilize advanced computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues. - Play a crucial role in diagnosing medical issues by interpreting physician's scanning instructions and preparing CT scan equipment. - Ensure patient safety by administering contrast materials and positioning patients for optimal imaging. - Navigate the challenges and rewards of a hands-on healthcare environment. **Essential Functions:** - Interact with everyone in a friendly and respectful manner. - Go the extra mile to assist others and advocate for privacy and confidentiality. - Maintain a clean and safe hospital environment for patients and staff. - Respond swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations. - Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accreditation and licensure. - Achieve optimum diagnostic quality for all CT images to support accurate radiologist interpretation. - Follow pre-determined image criteria and ensure all images are accurate and complete. - Operate diagnostic CT scan equipment and including proper image processing. - Assess patients accurately, particularly for women of childbearing age, to minimize radiation exposure. - Thoroughly review and document physician orders, ensuring accurate examinations. - Coordinate daily schedules, patient flow, and ensure timely completion of exams. - Maintain a safe and accessible environment for all patients, especially the elderly and children. - Demonstrate sensitivity to patients' needs and ensure their comfort throughout the process. **Physical Requirements:** - Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently. - Frequently reach and handle objects, with occasional stooping, crouching, and feeling. **Behavioral Attributes:** - Achievement motivation and concern for order. - Flexibility and initiative are key to this role. - Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal effectiveness. - Ability to work as part of a team, while also demonstrating independence and sound judgment. **Job Requirements:** - Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent. - Minimum Work Experience: 1-year experience in CT preferred. - Required Licenses: MA DPH Radiology License and ARRT (R); ARRT (CT) preferred, required within two years of hire. - Essential Skills: Quality conscious, dependable, organized, and exhibits high technical skills. **Shift Information:** - Days, Evenings, Rotating Weekends. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
