The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards, providing support to the radiology department in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Performs radiologic examinations, aids in clerical functions, and maintains the smooth and orderly flow of patients through the radiology department.
- Required Qualifications: Completion of a Radiologic Technology program; knowledge of standard radiologic terminology; ARRT registered or registry eligible; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; currently registered with the relevant medical board.
- Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Performs all steps of the X-Ray with the patient, including pre-exam processing, performing the exam, and post-exam documentation. Maintains cleanliness of all rooms, machines, and cassettes, and manages supply inventory. The position involves work in the Main Operating Room with a weekend rotation and on-call duties.
