Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Assistant (Inpatient) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Texas. This position involves providing specialized occupational therapy services within the neonatal ICU setting, supporting infants requiring intensive care. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment on a day shift schedule, with a focus on patient-centered care.
Job Details
- Position Description: Start ASAP in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. No floating, no call, 48-hour workweeks, with dayshift hours from 6:45 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapist Assistant certification, BLS (AHA or ARC), licensure in the State of Texas, minimum of 2 years' experience with concentration in NICU, and the ability to work at least 40 hours per week. Valid home address and SSN to be included in the submission.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Ensures all patients in the NICU are seen three times per week, with a patient ratio of one occupational therapist and one speech therapist per caseload, covering a total of 21 beds. Experience in NICU settings preferred.
