Chicago, IL – Evening Shift X-Ray Tech Opportunity
Quick Glance:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Shift: Evenings (5x8s)
- Length: 13-week contract
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: As assigned
- Scope: Adult diagnostic radiography in a high-volume hospital setting
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams on adult patients
- Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
- Follow physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal patient care
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues as needed
Must-Have Credentials:
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent X-ray experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently during evening shifts
