Coverage Locations:  Pompano Beach, Fort Pierce, Coral Bay and Palm Beach JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a licensed LMHC, LCSW, Psychologist to provide behavioral health services across multiple post-acute care facilities. Responsibilities include conducting daily rounds, assessing and treating patients, collaborating with facility staff, and delivering accurate diagnoses, consultations, education, and follow-up care. This role involves working closely with the Psych division team within the facilities.Applicants must hold an active Florida license or be a Registered Intern in Florida.Schedule: Monday–FridayEmployment Type: W2Hours: FlexiblePRIMARY FUNCTIONSExamine patients and document medical historyAdhere to established charting protocolsCollaborate with Physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plansSubmit healthcare plans and patient goals for periodic physician reviewEducate patients on disease prevention, hygiene, and dietRefer patients to specialists as neededReport deaths and contagious diseases in accordance with government regulationsPerform additional duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEActive and in-good-standing State of Florida licenseMust be an LMHC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist in FloridaCurrent National Board CertificationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESStrong written, verbal, and electronic communication skillsDemonstrates initiative, creativity, and problem-solving abilityAbility to collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure quality patient careADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONSExperience using electronic medical records (EMR) preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) RELATIONSHIP REPORTINGReports directly to the Supervisory Psychiatric Physician / Executive DirectorPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to communicate effectively with patientsAbility to collaborate with colleagues as neededAbility to operate a computer, printer, and scannerAbility to sit, stand, or view a computer screen for extended periodsAbility to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsAbility to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
