Launchpad Labor & HCM is seeking a Product Designer to help shape clear, user-centered product experiences in our onsite work environment in Plano, TX.
Position SummaryAs a Product Designer, you will translate user needs and business goals into intuitive, well-crafted product experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to define design direction, build design solutions, and ensure the final experience is both effective and consistent.
This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys working end-to-end—from discovery and concepting through iteration and refinement—while maintaining a strong focus on usability, clarity, and design quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with product, engineering, and stakeholders to understand requirements, users, and success metrics.
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate interaction and visual intent.
Conduct or support user research and usability activities to inform design decisions and validate concepts.
Iterate on designs based on feedback, testing results, and technical feasibility.
Maintain design consistency across features through thoughtful UI patterns, documentation, and design standards.
Demonstrated experience designing digital product experiences, from early ideation to finalized UI.
Strong skills in usability principles, interaction design, and creating clear design artifacts (e.g., flows, wireframes, and prototypes).
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback into iterative design work.
Strong visual design fundamentals with attention to detail and consistency.
Portfolio showcasing relevant product design work and design decision-making.
Experience partnering with product management and engineering throughout the full product lifecycle.
Familiarity with design research methods and using findings to drive design improvements.
Knowledge of accessibility considerations and designing inclusive user experiences.
Experience designing for complex workflows or data-driven applications.
Annual salary: $60,000 - $75,000
