Job Description

Launchpad Labor & HCM is seeking a Product Designer to help shape clear, user-centered product experiences in our onsite work environment in Plano, TX.

Position Summary

As a Product Designer, you will translate user needs and business goals into intuitive, well-crafted product experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to define design direction, build design solutions, and ensure the final experience is both effective and consistent.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys working end-to-end—from discovery and concepting through iteration and refinement—while maintaining a strong focus on usability, clarity, and design quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with product, engineering, and stakeholders to understand requirements, users, and success metrics.

  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate interaction and visual intent.

  • Conduct or support user research and usability activities to inform design decisions and validate concepts.

  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, testing results, and technical feasibility.

  • Maintain design consistency across features through thoughtful UI patterns, documentation, and design standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience designing digital product experiences, from early ideation to finalized UI.

  • Strong skills in usability principles, interaction design, and creating clear design artifacts (e.g., flows, wireframes, and prototypes).

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback into iterative design work.

  • Strong visual design fundamentals with attention to detail and consistency.

  • Portfolio showcasing relevant product design work and design decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience partnering with product management and engineering throughout the full product lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with design research methods and using findings to drive design improvements.

  • Knowledge of accessibility considerations and designing inclusive user experiences.

  • Experience designing for complex workflows or data-driven applications.
