Accounts Payable Clerk San Antonio, TX 78221 Type: 6-month contract with direct hire possible Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 Work Model: Onsite Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm System One is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in San Antonio, TX for a 6-month contract opportunity with direct hire possible. Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including matching invoices, receivers, and purchase orders.
- Obtain invoice approval, lien waivers, and letters of credit.
- Verify approved insurance and bonds.
- Respond to assigned queries accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely communication.
- Research source documents and prepare basic accounting reports.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and develop positive relationships with vendors, procurement, and project management teams.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the manager.
- Maintain rental tracking spreadsheets and monitor the status of lien waivers from subcontractors and vendors.
- Participate in Invoice Transaction Log meetings and update logs accordingly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one-year experience in accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (beginner/intermediate) and Microsoft Office (Teams and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers.
- Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail.
