About the Role:
Paramount Facilities & Solutions is looking for a skilled and dependable Floor Technician to join our team in Columbus, GA. This is a hands-on role where you'll take pride in delivering spotless, well-maintained floors across a variety of commercial environments. Responsibilities:

• Strip, clean, wax, and buff hard surface floors using commercial floor care equipment
• Perform carpet cleaning, extraction, and spot treatment as needed
• Operate and maintain floor scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and auto-scrubbers
• Apply floor finish coats and sealers to maintain appearance and durability
• Conduct routine inspections of floor surfaces and report maintenance needs
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate service logs

Requirements:

• Prior experience in commercial floor care or janitorial services preferred
• Familiarity with floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, and extractors
• Knowledge of hard floor and carpet cleaning techniques and products
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
