Job Description

DELIVERY ASSOCIATE – $22.50–$24.00 PER HOUR

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

Minimum Age Requirement: 21 Years Old

Join MG Xpress Freight LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, as a Delivery Associate. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active, and providing excellent service to customers.

What We Offer

Location

Amazon Delivery Station – Hamburg, NY (South Buffalo area)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an Amazon-branded delivery vehicle

• Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and business customers

• Follow traffic laws, safety requirements, company policies, and applicable Amazon delivery procedures

• Use a smartphone and delivery application throughout the workday

• Communicate appropriately with customers and dispatch when necessary

• Load, organize, carry, and deliver packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Frequently enter and exit a delivery vehicle throughout the shift

• Walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday

• Work outdoors and drive in varying weather conditions

• Maintain reliable attendance and report to scheduled shifts on time

 

Qualifications

 

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Strong attendance and reliability

• Valid driver's license

• Must meet applicable driving record requirements

• Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening

• Reliable transportation to and from the delivery station

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to get in and out of a delivery vehicle repeatedly throughout the shift

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Comfortable using a smartphone and delivery applications

• Good communication and customer-service skills

• Receptive to feedback and willing to learn

• Ability to follow company safety policies and applicable delivery procedures

• Must be available for scheduled shifts, including weekends as required

• Delivery experience is a plus, but not required — training provided

                                  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

   No previous delivery experience is required. Training is provided.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time schedules generally consist of 4 workdays per week

• Availability for 3 weekdays and at least 1 weekend day is required

• Weekend availability may include Saturday, Sunday, or both, depending on scheduling needs

• Holiday availability may be required based on operational needs

• Delivery Associates should be prepared to work shifts of up to 10 hours, depending on route volume and operational needs

• Additional hours/overtime may be available based on business needs
