Tax Manager - Boutique CPA & Advisory Firm

A top rated local CPA and advisory services firm in the greater Norfolk, VA area has engaged with us to find a Tax Manager with experience in multiple business entities and high net worth clients.

Pay and Benefits for the Position:

• $125,000-$155,000 annually
• 401 (k) employer matched

• Hours capped at reasonable levels even during busy season (most often 50-60 estimated plus overtime paid if worked)

Responsibilities and Skills Needed:

• Bachelors in accounting, (or equivalent, Business with accounting focus, econ, finance)
• 5-8+ years of accounting experience in a firm / wealth management / public accounting / CPA firm environment
• CPA license is advantageous EA is also a big asset
• Prep and Review experience with C-Corps, S-Corps, Trusts and Partnerships, as well as tax return work with high net worth individuals
• Multi Industry knowledge helpful, construction, professional, HNW, manufacturing, other industries
• Knowledgeable with IRS regulations and rules to ensure all compliance is met
• Solid experience with multiple tax software programs
