Tax Senior - Top Regional CPA & Tax Firm

We have partnered with a growing CPA & Advisory firm in Jacksonville, FL in search for an additional senior tax associate.

This is a top mid-sized CPA firm in the North Florida area with about 60 employees and they are growing and looking to add additional help on the tax side.

If you are at a larger or different firm and want more direct client exposure, this opportunity may be worth a conversation.

Responsibilities & Pay:

• Providing tax prep services and advisory services to a wide range of businesses, HNW, and various business entities
• $90,000-$110,000 salary annually
• Excellent PTO policy
• Paid Continuing Ed
• Medical & Dental plans
• Oversee multiple tax engagements as well as work with the office in a team environment
• Complete tax prep & review work for C-Corps, S-Corps, HNW, partnerships, trusts, and other entities 5M to 50M in revenues

Qualifications and Background:

• BS Degree in accounting or equivalent (econ, business with focus in accounting, finance, stats) who is potentially on track to fulfilling the additional CPA credit hour requirement (additional education) OR on track to working towards the CPA in the future would be a plus
• 2-3 years of tax experience working with multiple business entities
• Ideal tax prep work across multiple industries
• Experience with various accounting software programs if possible including CCH Pro System FX or other comparable accounting software is ideal.
• Experience in various tax returns including aforementioned corporations and pass through entities for many locally based businesses in construction, healthcare, and other industries.
