About the Role
We’re looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to support our clinical team in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. This role combines hands-on clinical responsibilities with administrative support to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare patients for visits, including vital signs and health history
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and point-of-care testing
- Perform tasks such as injections, screenings, ECGs, and specimen handling
- Document patient information accurately in the EHR
- Support follow-ups, referrals, and prior authorizations
- Provide patient education and assist with care coordination
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
- Participate in team huddles, meetings, and community outreach
- Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Full-time position with at least one evening per week until 8:00 pm
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
- Current or eligible MA certification in Pennsylvania
- CPR certification required
- 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience in community or public health (preferred)
- Strong clinical, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-focused approach
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
