Kitchen Manager

Little General LLC is looking for a passionate and driven Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations in Columbia, MO. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service execution
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure peak performance
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to uphold company standards
• Manage food inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control costs
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance at all times
• Develop and update menu items in collaboration with ownership and management
• Track kitchen labor and food costs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency

Requirements:

• 2+ years of kitchen management or culinary leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team
• Experience with inventory management, food costing, and ordering
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with composure
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
