Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab requiring cath lab experience and RCIS certification preferred.
Details
- Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
- 4x9.5-hour AM shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 4 days per week
- On-call required for weekend STEMI coverage, approximately 1-2 times per weekend
- May float to sister hospital as needed
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist required (license required if applicable)
- RCIS certification preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- IABP experience required
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Active NJ license required
- Epic charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI procedures, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data
- Provide procedural assistance to physicians pre, intra, and post procedure
- Assess and manage access sites and communicate findings to physicians
- Adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Accepts local candidates
- Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date
