CT Technologist Job Summary
The CT Technologist performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the supervision of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager while adhering to prescribed levels of ionizing radiation. This role involves executing all activities in accordance with federal, state, local, and institutional policies and procedures for patients from newborns to geriatrics. The technologist will operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of specific body areas and is capable of inserting and removing IVs.
Education- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience is required
- Preferred knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients
- Licensed by the State Radiation Control Board
- ARRT Registered - RT (R) or RT (N)
- ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography is preferred
- If no CT License is obtained at time of hire, the technologist has one year to achieve the CT License
- CPR certified
The position requires availability on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Additional InformationStart date will be determined based on credentialing clearance. If the technologist is not cleared by the posted start date, a rescheduled start date will be necessary.
