Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Valdez, AK 99686

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Valdez, Alaska

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 18:00), variable schedule with overnight call every 2-3 nights. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period. Must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• 13-week travel assignment in a beautiful Alaskan community
• Facility-provided housing (1-bedroom apartment) and rental vehicle included during assignment
• Perform both CT scans and x-ray exams across diverse patient populations including outpatient, emergency department, and inpatient settings
• Work with all age groups from neonates to geriatrics in a community hospital environment
• Conduct basic CT procedures including angiography and multiplanar reconstruction
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification (preferred)
• Fluoroscopy permit (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Valid state license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Must be willing to float to x-ray coverage within scope of practice
• Ability to start peripheral IVs and prepare/administer contrast media (preferred)
• Experience with vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, and emergency department procedures
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
