Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Michigan City This role involves providing specialized support within the cardiac catheterization laboratory environment, assisting with interventional procedures involving cardiology, vascular, and interventional radiology patients. The position requires self-motivated team players who are proficient in sedation, circulation, and EKG testing.
Job Details
- Position Role: Cath Lab Tech III contractor
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Location: Michigan City, IN
- Shift: Days, 9-hour shifts, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36; on call weekends with 8 call shifts in a 4-week period.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience; experience with sedation and circulation competency; ability to pass an EKG test at the facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Recording competency, scrub experience in cath lab and electrophysiology (EP).
- Schedule: 9-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position requires proficiency with equipment including Xper, Philips, Balloon Pump, Impella, Cardiolab, PFA, Carto, ICE. The candidate must be self-motivated, a team player, and adhere to dress code standards with light blue scrubs.
