Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift role split between inpatient and outpatient care at a critical access hospital.
Details
- 25-bed critical access hospital setting
- Day shift, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday with no weekends or holidays
- Caseload includes 60% inpatient and 40% outpatient patients
- Responsible for post-op splint fabrication
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Current BLS certification required

- Located in Newport, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border
- Area offers outdoor recreation such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
- Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit
- Support provided throughout the transition to the new role and community
- Attendance at quarterly department education sessions required
