Pick and Pack Associate 1st Shift - $16.50 hours

Job Summary:

MVP East is looking for diligent and detail-oriented Pick Pack Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for accurately picking and packing orders for Ryders, ensuring that all items are prepared for shipment efficiently and correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Order Picking: Efficiently pick items from designated storage areas based on order specifications, ensuring accuracy in quantity and product selection.

- Packing: Carefully pack picked items into boxes or containers, utilizing appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.

- Labeling: Accurately label all packages with shipping information and ensure compliance with Ryder's shipping standards.

- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to verify that all picked and packed items match order requirements and meet quality standards.

- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork associated with picking and packing activities, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

- Inventory Support: Assist in maintaining organized inventory in the packing area by reporting low stock levels and helping with restocking as needed.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols while performing pick and pack duties to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Previous experience in a pick and pack role is highly desirable.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in picking and packing.

- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

- Basic math skills for verifying order quantities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:

- Warehouse setting with a focus on picking and packing operations.

- Repetitive tasks and standing for long periods may be required.
