Customer Service Representative

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative. In this vital role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, providers, and healthcare partners—helping to schedule appointments, provide information, and support patient care coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and professionally to participant inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Clearly explain claim payments, denials, and plan benefits to participants
• Research and resolve eligibility or claim-related issues; coordinate updates with external vendors as needed
• Accurately document all interactions in the Customer Service module
• Process enrollment forms, disability claims, and special fund claims in a timely manner
• Monitor incoming calls and manage call flow using call center software
• Retrieve and respond to voicemails from the nightline system
• Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• At least 1-2 years of call center experience is required
• Call center experience in healthcare preferred
• Must type 40 wpm
• Bilingual speaking is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Suites
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Hours between 8am-7pm
